It’s 40 years since Nelson-born Rod Dixon won the New York City Marathon, but the passion and enthusiasm for running has not gone. If anything, it has grown and whilst he may not be running in this year’s marathon, his feats have inspired the next generation of runners. To mark and celebrate this remarkable milestone, Rod and fellow running legend Lorraine Moller are teaming up with a number of athletes who will be racing in this year’s NYCM to encourage and help them prepare for the race.
